I'm so glad you got to enjoy the magic of the snow in Iraq! According to the news articles, it was a moment of delight in an area sorely lacking in moments of delight and joy. :) Happy New Year! (I know it's not Jan 1st, but it's close enough!)
I found your blog,,, looking for snow in Balad!!! My son is in H26 TAB...yes Army! I am retired Air Force myself and I just want to say THANK YOU!!!! and Happy New Year to all of you over there, we think of all military...all the time.

I want to echo retjet and add that we think about you and talk about you all the time. My husband is retired army. I have only known him 4 years and my view of the world and view of the military has changed. Plus I love shopping at the commissary. I am looking forward to when we hear from you from Texas. Love, Mary Ann

Wow, the white stuff in Iraq! Way cool. Looks like you are having a good time standing in it.
